What is MAGMUH?
MAGMUH is a toy that can be squished and squeezed by all ages. Designed as a ball with spikes, with a shell of rubber and a filling of maltose (similar to corn syrup). Being held in the palm of your hand, each spike can be pressed inward.

Where it Started
MAGMUH was thought up to improve sensory and tactical sensations over original squish toy designs. With 14 soft spikes, each individually capable of being pressed in and offering total tactical stimulation across a sphere that fits in the palm of your hand.
Making a Dream into a Reality
Through experience in drafting engineering models, a 3D model was made of the product to discuss with manufactures production of a prototype.
Prototyping
After much deliberation between TPR manufactures, it was decided that a prototype was to be made through silicone casting using a 3D printed mold. This was done in order to save costs from TPR injection molding to 3D molding.
Getting a Feel
After much trial and error with the prototype and a failed cast, the first silicone casts were made. These were done to feel how the ball feels in the hand.
